Research, Advocacy, and Good Governance
Objective: To enhance rights-based advocacy, good governance, and accountability in health and education through community engagement.
Key Interventions:
- Advocacy for Good Governance: Advocate for improved governance and accountability in development, specifically targeting health and education sectors. SCI engages both duty bearers and the wider community to ensure that development processes are transparent and accountable.
- Community Engagement: Encourage active participation from community members in discussions and decisions related to governance, ensuring that their voices are heard and their needs addressed.
- Research-Driven Advocacy: As a research-based organization, SCI conducts studies and research to identify educational and health service gaps in communities. The findings are shared with duty bearers and technical leadership to inform better planning and resource allocation. This approach ensures that programs and interventions are grounded in evidence and meet the actual needs of the population.
